CHAPTER 4 – THE MAID WHO GAVE ORDERS TO KILLERS

CHAPTER 4 – THE MAID WHO GAVE ORDERS TO KILLERS
The first sniper fired.
The bullet never reached Dominic.
A second shot rang out from somewhere beyond the estate.
The assassin outside collapsed before anyone realized he had been targeted.
Then another enemy fell.
And another.
Dominic frowned.
"Those aren't my men."
Elena calmly looked through the shattered window.
"No."
"They're mine."
Headlights suddenly appeared beyond the forest surrounding the mansion.
Not one vehicle.
Ten.
Black armored SUVs burst through the iron gates, crushing abandoned luxury cars beneath reinforced tires.
Doors flew open.
More than thirty heavily armed operatives emerged in perfect formation.
No shouting.
No panic.
Only flawless discipline.
Each wore black tactical gear with a silver wolf insignia stitched onto the shoulder.
Dominic's eyes widened.
"I know that emblem."
"You should."
Elena replied.
"You designed it."
He stared at her.
"I destroyed that unit twelve years ago."
"You thought you did."
The operatives moved through the mansion like ghosts.
Every shot was precise.
Every movement rehearsed.
Within minutes, Romano's assassins began falling one after another.
Victoria watched from the front staircase.
For the first time that night...
She looked frightened.
"Who are they?"
Elena walked past Dominic without answering.
She stepped into the center of the blood-covered foyer.
Every operative immediately lowered one knee.
Thirty battle-hardened soldiers.
Bowing.
To a maid.
One of them removed his helmet.
His scarred face carried decades of combat.
"Commander."
"We've secured the north wing."
Another spoke through his radio.
"South entrance clear."
"Enemy retreating."
Victoria's confidence disappeared.
"No..."
She backed away.
"No... that's impossible."
Dominic looked between Elena and the soldiers.
"Commander?"
The scarred operative smiled.
"You never recognized her because she wanted it that way."
Elena slowly removed the plain silver hairpin she always wore while cleaning.
Long dark hair fell across her shoulders.
She wiped away years of plain makeup with the sleeve of her uniform.
The quiet maid vanished.
The woman standing before them radiated calm authority.
Even Dominic instinctively straightened his posture.
She looked nothing like a servant.
She looked born to command armies.
Victoria whispered in disbelief.
"I watched you scrub floors..."
Elena answered coldly.
"And while you watched me mop the house..."
"I watched you destroy two innocent children."
She reached into her pocket and produced a military identification card.
Dominic caught it.
His hands trembled as he read the name.
Commander Elena Rossi.
Founder – Shadow Wolf Division.
The legendary covert unit officially declared destroyed over a decade earlier.
Dominic slowly looked up.
"I ordered the Shadow Wolves disbanded."
"You did."
Elena's voice remained calm.
"So I let the world believe we disappeared."
A radio suddenly crackled.
"Commander."
"We've captured three traitors alive."
Another voice interrupted.
"We also found Romano."
Everyone turned.
Outside the shattered front doors, Alessandro Romano was being dragged across the courtyard in handcuffs.
But he wasn't looking at Dominic.
He was staring at Elena.
Pure terror filled his face.
"You..."
he whispered.
"No..."
"It can't be you."
Elena stepped toward him.
Romano began shaking uncontrollably.
"I buried you."
Elena's expression never changed.
"You buried the wrong woman."
Then Romano screamed a name that made every surviving gunman freeze.
"The White Ghost..."
Silence swallowed the estate.
Even Dominic had heard that name.
It belonged to the most feared intelligence operative ever to disappear from the criminal underworld.
A woman no one had seen for fifteen years.
A legend every syndicate believed was dead.
Dominic slowly turned toward the maid who had protected his children.
Only now did he understand the impossible truth.
He had never hired a maid.
He had unknowingly given shelter to the most dangerous woman alive.
And from the shadows beyond the burning mansion, a lone figure raised a sniper rifle.

The red laser settled quietly...
On Sophia's small chest.
