CHAPTER 6 – THE BOY WHO DIDN'T KNOW HIS NAME

CHAPTER 6 – THE BOY WHO DIDN'T KNOW HIS NAME
Forty-eight hours later...
The investigation room resembled a military command center.
Maps covered the walls.
Hundreds of photographs.
Financial records.
Travel logs.
Phone intercepts.
Nothing.
No Blackwood orphanage.
No Blackwood hospital.
No Blackwood foundation.
The name seemed to lead nowhere.
Frustration spread through the room.
Until...
A young cyber analyst raised his hand.
"Sir."
"I found something."
Everyone turned.
"It isn't a place."
"It's a yacht."
Alejandro stared.
"A yacht?"
The analyst enlarged an old registration file.
BLACKWOOD
A private luxury yacht.
Registered under a shell corporation secretly owned by Vivian Moretti.
Its last official voyage...
Three years earlier.
Exactly five days after Elena gave birth.
Alejandro's pulse quickened.
"Track it."
The analyst nodded.
"It was sold two years ago."
"To whom?"
He hesitated.
"A charity organization."
"What charity?"
He opened another document.
The room fell silent.
"The Saint Gabriel Children's Home."
Elena gasped.
She recognized the name instantly.
During her captivity, Vivian often mocked her.
"Your precious son is surrounded by angels now."
Elena had always assumed it was another cruel lie.
It wasn't.

Within hours, Alejandro's helicopter landed outside the secluded children's home nestled among rolling hills.
The building appeared peaceful.
Children laughed in the gardens.
Nothing suggested a terrible secret.
The director, Sister Margaret, welcomed them politely.
"I'm afraid there must be some misunderstanding."
Alejandro placed the DNA report on her desk.
"We're looking for a boy born three years ago."
She examined the papers.
Her smile slowly faded.
"I..."
"I've seen these names before."
Elena gripped Alejandro's hand.
"Please..."
"Tell us."
The elderly nun disappeared into the archives.
Minutes later, she returned carrying a worn file.
Her expression was filled with confusion.
"This child was brought here anonymously."
"No birth certificate."
"No family."
"Only one instruction."
Alejandro opened the file.
A handwritten note fell into his hands.
It contained just one sentence:
"Never let Alejandro Castillo find him."
His vision blurred.
He turned the page.
A small photograph slipped onto the desk.
A little boy with dark hair and Elena's gentle eyes smiled brightly while holding a wooden toy airplane.
Across the bottom was written:
Name: Daniel.
Age: 3 years.
Alejandro's hands trembled as he picked up the photograph.
Tears filled Elena's eyes.
"My baby..."
She reached for the picture with shaking fingers.
But before anyone could speak—
A teacher burst into the office, pale with panic.
"Sister Margaret!"
"The little boy..."
"Daniel..."
"He's gone."
The room froze.
"What do you mean, gone?" Alejandro demanded.
The teacher struggled to catch her breath.
"A woman arrived an hour ago..."
"She said Daniel's family had finally come for him."
Alejandro felt his heart stop.
"What did she look like?"
The teacher answered with one sentence that turned everyone's blood cold.
May you like
"She said..."
"'Tell Alejandro he's already too late.'"
