chapter 1 : The Homeless Man Was Supposed to Be Dead — Then His Son Recognized the Scar
The homeless man looked exhausted.
His clothes were dirty.
His hands trembled from the cold.
Most people walked right past him.
But a teenage boy stopped.
He pulled a few dollars from his pocket and dropped them into the man's donation can.
The homeless man looked up.
"Thank you, son."
The boy was about to leave.
Then he noticed something.
A scar.

His heart suddenly stopped.
