FINAL CHAPTER — THE TRUTH IN THE DIAMOND ❤️
FINAL CHAPTER — THE TRUTH IN THE DIAMOND ❤️
Vanessa shook her head.
"No..."
But the DNA report on Arthur's desk said otherwise.
99.97% sibling match.
Sophie Bennett and Vanessa Cole were sisters.
For years Vanessa had believed her mother abandoned her.
For years Sophie had grown up believing she was unwanted.
Both had been lied to.
By different people.
For different reasons.
Arthur revealed everything.
Grace Tang had been forced apart from him by powerful relatives who feared losing the family fortune.
When Grace became ill years later, she secretly searched for both daughters.
Before her death, she left clues.
The ring.
The engraving.
The grave box.
Everything was meant to reunite them.
Vanessa looked at Sophie.
Then at the bruise already forming on Sophie's arm.
Tears streamed down her face.
"I'm sorry."
Sophie said nothing.
For several moments neither woman moved.
Then Sophie stepped forward.
And hugged her.
The entire store watched in silence.
Arthur wiped away tears.
Because after decades of loss, something precious had finally been returned.
Not the diamond ring.
A family.
Months later, Vanessa and Sophie reopened part of the store under a new name:
Grace Jewelry.
Named after the woman who never stopped loving either daughter.
And beneath the original ring's engraving, they added three new words:
May you like
"Together At Last."
❤️ THE END ❤️
